From March through June, Smiles for Life helps to raise money for seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children living in impoverished communities throughout the world. Each year, hundreds of dental practice located in the U.S. and Canada band together to raise money by offering low-cost teeth whitening services to patients. Every patient who has his or her teeth cleaned at LDA between now and the end of June will have the fee for their treatment donated directly to Smiles for Life.
We Donate 100% to Children’s Charities
The Smile for Life Foundation acts as the children’s charity division of the Crown Council, who partner with Ultradent – makers of Boost in-office teeth whitening products – to power this wonderful cause. Ultradent donates all of the teeth whitening supplies to Crown Council dentists – such as our team at LDA – who in turn donate all of their time whitening patient’s teeth. Combined, this enables dentists all across North American to offer teeth whitening services at little cost to themselves so they can donate 100% of the Proceeds to the Foundation to Help Kids’ Charities.
Since the Smile for Life program started in 1998, over $40 million has been raised in support of hundreds of children’s charities. By having your teeth whitened from now until the end of June, you’re making a direct contribution to this outstanding cause.
Half of all the money raised will go to Boulder County’s own Voices for Children CASA, while the remaining amount goes to the Smiles for Life Foundation where it will be distributed to worthwhile organizations in the U.S., Canada, and the world at large.
Over the years, Smiles for Life has partnered with such terrific organizations at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Feed the Children, Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, and many more.
