Smiles for Life
Smiles for Life is a unique campaign that brings together dental professionals across North America to support children in need. From March through June each year, dental practices offer professional teeth whitening services at a reduced cost, with 100% of the proceeds donated to children’s charities. Since its inception in 1998, the campaign has raised over $40 million, benefiting hundreds of children’s charities worldwide.
We’ve been fortunate to meet and exceed our goals at Louisville Dental Associates in 2023.
Our Louisville, CO dentists have decided to direct all proceeds from the 2023 campaign into the Smiles for Life humanitarian fund. This ensures that every dollar raised through our teeth whitening services directly supports dental care initiatives in underserved communities.
Our Commitment to Volunteerism
In addition to the tooth-whitening campaign, our doctors have committed to participating in humanitarian missions biennially. This hands-on approach allows us to directly apply our skills and resources where they are most needed, reaffirming our dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
At a recent Crown Council event honoring Smiles for Life participants, Dr. Chuck was awarded the Frances Hammond Humanitarian Award for his part in a trip to Guatemala. As can happen, the trip presented some challenges, but Dr. Chuck kept the group calm and organized. We already knew he’s someone you’d want to have around in an emergency, and it’s fantastic to see other people recognize that.
